How T-Mobile's Project Dark/Black Unlimited plans stack up against the competition

Below are some charts on how T-Mobile's new Unlimited plans compare to other cell providers unlimited plans. By the looks of it seems that T-Mobile's plans either beat or match AT&T Unlimited plans, Verizon’s Nationwide Select Service Unlimited, and Sprints Simply Everything plan. I am not sure if T-Mobile plans on phasing out the Myfaves plans or not. If they are phasing out the Myfaves plans then these new plans still don't beat Sprint's "Any time Any Mobile" plans, which is $69.99 for 450 minutes and Unlimited calling to mobile phones on any network, unlimited text and web. Now am not a huge fan of Sprint mainly because when I had them they were really expensive and their customer service was not good. But if T-Mobile USA wants to be the low cost cell provider out of AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. They might want to rethink their marketing strategy and keep the Myfaves plans, well we will all find out how everything goes tomorrow. Here are some pervious post with some more details on T-Mobile's new plans.

T-Mobile's Project Black/Dark price of plans get confirmed

Well the leaked documents seem to be more official as we get closer to October 25th. The pricing of the pervious leaked documents is correct when it comes to the unlimited plans for individuals and families.  And I don't see how these unlimited plans are better then Sprints "Any Mobile Any Time" plans. Which included 450 minutes unlimited calling to mobile phones, unlimited text & web for $69.99 a month. I guess we will have to wait until October 25th to see what T-Mobile USA is planning to do. To get a more details on the new rate plans go to this pervious post

T-Mobile's Project Black/Dark price of plans leaked

Thanks to tmonews website for leaking these pictures of T-Mobile US plans and the prices of them. T-Mobile US seems to be adopting the same strategy as T-Mobile UK. With these new plans a customer has the option of going pre-paid and paying less a month for a plan. But the customer would have to pay full price for the phone that they pay for over monthly installments. And from what I have read it could be over a 4-month installment plan to a 20-month installment plan. The other option for customers is to sign on to a two-year contract and get a phone that's subsidize but pay more each month for the rate plans. And for those people like myself who have T-Mobile after being a customer for 2 years under contract they do offer there customers unlimited voice for $49.99 a month. Although I do not know how that will be affected under these new plans. Both plans will be offering free nights and weekends as well as T-Mobile-to-T-Mobile calling. Keep in mind people that these are still rumored although tmonews website say's the prices of the plans are fairly accurate. My personal take on these plans is that when you get a contract with a cell provider and get a subsidize cell phone. The company recoups the money lost on that subsidize cell phone over the course of the contract, so either way you end up paying for the handset.  In T-Mobile's case there basically giving you the option of paying for the handset over monthly payments and getting a cheaper plan which the plan is what you pay, when it comes to cellular service the handset's is just a way to help sell the plans. I don't know if these plans will help get the company out of 4th place as one of the largest cellular providers in the U.S. Below are the leaked prices and a run down of the plans. But weather or not these prices are true we will just have to wait and see how it pan's out on October 25th.

T-Mobile’s Project Dark/Black Details leaked

Well thanks to boygeniusreport.com they have found out some of the details of T-Mobile USA "Even More & Even More Plus" rate plans. The site hasn’t confirmed the 3G-network upgrade or some of the cell phone rumors. But according to the site the Even More plans will require a two-year contract and will allow for handsets to be subsidized. The Even More Plus plans do not require a two-year contract and will not have cell phone subsidies.  They will also have a new Flex Pay system that will allow the costumer to buy the cell phone that they want and pay for it in monthly installments. Am sure we will know more on the 25th of October so feel free to comment and discuss on our board.Click on the thumbnails to get the full sized picture.
