Nokia N900 now available in the USA.

Nokia announced today that the Nokia N900 is available in the US.  The Nokia N900 is Nokia’s first cell phone to use the Meamo platform, which is Nokia’s Linux, based mobile operating system.  The Nokia N900 will feature a 5.0- megapixel camera with auto focus, flash & video recording, a 3.5 – inch touch screen, 3D graphics acceleration, supports up to 32 gigabytes of internal storage, supports Adobe Flash Player 9.4, Mozilla powered web browser, supports GPS, supports Mail for Microsoft Exchange. SMS, and IM. The Nokia N900 does support T-Mobile's 3G network.  The Nokia N900 will be $649 and sold though Nokia’s flagship stores in Chicago, IL & New York, NY. And though Nokia’s website and various independent retailers and online retailers such as Amazon.com. Although it’s only available for pre-order though Nokia’s website. T-Mobile could get the Nokia 5230

 

Today the Nokia 5230 just passed the FCC and is compatible with T-Mobiles USA 3G network. The Nokia 5230 will have a 3.2-inch touch screen, a 2-megapixel camera with video recording, an HTML browser, an 70 megabytes of internal memory, a micro SD card expansion slot that supports up to 16 gigabyte cards. Supports Bluetooth 2.0, supports sms, mms, email, GPS & Ovi Maps and an FM radio. As far as tech specs go that’s about all I can find on this handset.  I have found a demo of the handset being shown at the Nokia World Expo. and judging by the video i think the would be one of their Nokia  Xpressmusic handsets. Nokia N900 Video

 

Well this is one of the phones that is supposed to come to T-Mobile USA in 2010. And according to prlog.org in a press released stated that its going to be released on October 19,2009, although it did not state what cell carrier. The phone will feature a Wi-fi, a 32 gb internal expandable memory, GPS, Ovi Maps, a 5.0 mega pixel camera with auto focus, dual LED flash, Media player and a 3.5 mm headset jack.  The handset will also have support for Flash, Microsoft Exchange email client, Instant Messaging and have a PDF reader. Well the video above shows off the handset 3D gaming ability and some of the user interface well enjoy the video.

Nokia annouces the Nokia 5130 XpressMuisc

 

 

 

 

 

       Nokia announced today a new handset for T-mobile USA the Nokia 5130 XpressMusic. According to the press release by Nokia the phone is marketed for music lovers, who are looking for a stylish phone at a low price. The Nokia 5130 has an intuitive built-in music player with external music keys. The Nokia 5130 also features a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio, 2-mega-pixel camera with video recording, a WAP browser, supports instant messaging and email. Nokia Twist Comes to Verizon

 

Nokia introduces the Nokia 7705 Twist to the Verzion line up in a Verizon press release. The phone will be available though Verizon’s website on September 13th and though their stores on September 21st. The phone has a very interesting design it’s has a swivel screen that has a full Qwerty keypad underneath. But aside from the design let’s get into the specs of the phone. The phone will have Verizon’s services such as the Verizon Navigator, VCAST Music with Rhapsody, V CAST Video, Visual Voice Mail, Mobile Broadband Connect and access to Corporate Email. The Phone will have a 3.0 mega pixel camera/camcorder with auto focus and flash. It will also have a HTML web browser and support for Mobile Email, Mobile Web Email, Chat and Blogs. It will also have Bluetooth support and a 2.5 mm headphone jack. Some how I really couldn’t picture myself blogging from such a small device. The Nokia 7705 Twist will cost $99.99 dollars after a  $50 dollars mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.  To read the full press release go here.
