Mytouch 3G Fender LE Sells Out.

Well, since the release of the Mytouch 3G Fender limited edition three weeks ago T-Mobile has sold all 17,250 units. T-Mobile is going to be restocking the popular handset around April. I guess T-Mobile trying to give customers a variety of MyTouch 3G devices to choose from since the old Mytouch seems like it’s going to be phased out.  But According to TmoNews website the restock is going to be limited.  I guess people looking for this handset could always try Amazon or just buy the Mytouch 3G 3.5mm, which is exactly the same To read more on the Mytouch 3G device go to the related post link.

Mytouch 3G Fender Limited Edition Unboxing

Well, for those of you that own the original Mytouch 3G are probably pretty upset with the Mytouch 3G Fender Edition being released, especially if you just recently bought the original Mytouch 3G. The only real difference between the Mytouch 3G Fender LE and the original Mytouch 3G is the memory expansion and the addition of a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset also features pre-loaded music from Eric Clapton, Avril Lavigne, Brad Paisley and Wyclef Jean. Hope you enjoy the unboxing of the Mytouch 3G Fender Limited Edition, feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments section.

New Version of the Mytouch 3G Could Come In February

There have been a lot of rumors regarding the next version of the Mytouch 3G well apparently they are true. T-Mobile is refreshing the original Mytouch 3G the device looks just like the Mytouch 3G Fender LE just with out the wood grain finish look. The new version of the Mytouch 3G will have a 3.5 mm headphone jack and 288 MB of RAM instead of 192, which is what the original Mytouch 3G has. The new version of the Mytouch 3G will ships with Google Android 1.6, T-Mobile is going to upgrade it to Google Android 2.1 this spring.  There is still no word on how much the handset will cost but there are rumors suggesting the release date is going to be February 10th.

Well, this would make sense since T-Mobile did drop the price of the original Mytouch 3G to $149. By dropping the price they could be trying to get rid of all the old hardware to make room for the new version of the Mytouch 3G. And since the Mytouch 3G is supposed to get Google Android 2.1, having more RAM would allow Android 2.1 to run on the device better.
