Motorola Announces the Motorola Charm for T-Mobile

During a press event in Illinois Motorola announced a new Android handset: the Motorola Charm, for T-Mobile USA.

The Motorola Charm will have a 2.8-inch touchscreen, a 3.0 MP camera, a QWERTY keyboard & Wi-Fi. It will be running Android 2.1 with Motorola’s MOTOBLUR user interface.

MOTOBLUR will aggregate your social networking accounts, contacts & messages. It will also feature a BACKTRACK navigation pad on the back of the smartphone, which is a touch pad that will allow the user an unobstructed view of webpages, texts, and e-mail.

The Charm will feature a second microphone to filter out background noise for better call quality, and will have Adobe Flash enabled web browser, which will allow users to browse Flash enabled websites and view Flash enabled content.

The Motorola Charm is due out this summer only on T-Mobile USA. The price of the handset has yet to be determined. If you would like to learn more about the Motorola Charm please go to Motorola’s website.
