Sprint announced their 4GLTE plans late last year. The cellular company hasn’t announced any phones that will run on their 4G LTE network until this years CES were they announced the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the LG Viper 4G LTE.
During CES a lot of products were announced for Verizon Wireless one of them being the LG Spectrum.
The LG Spectrum will have a 4.5-inch True HD touchscreen, a 1.5-GHZ Qualcomm dual-core processor, a 8.0-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 1080p HD video camcorder, 16GB internal memory expandable to 32GB via microSD, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. The handset will come with Android 2.3(Gingerbread), and will be upgraded to Android 4.0(Ice Cream Sandwich) in the first half of 2012.
Seems like every cellular carrier is working on their LTE network, and AT&T is no exception. AT&T announced yesterday that they would launch their 4G LTE network in more markets. Their 4G LTE network will be available in New York City, Austin, Chapel Hill , Los Angeles, Oakland, Orlando, Phoenix, Raleigh , San Diego, San Francisco and San Jose. The cellular company already launched their 4G LTE in 15 markets over 2011, and currently offers customers five 4G LTE devices which are the HTC Vivid, Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and the LG Nitro HD smartphone as well as the HTC Jetstream and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 tablets. AT&T current uses both HSPA+ and LTE cellular technologies. The cellular company’s network currently cover 284 million people, and are expected to fully roll out their 4G LTE network by the end of 2013.
AT&T has been building out there 4G LTE network, and their 4GLTE smartphone portfolio. The cellular company and LG announced last week the details and availability of the LG Nitro HD.
The LG Nitro HD will support AT&T’s 4GLTE network which will allows consumers faster data speeds in areas where AT&T’s 4G LTE network is available. The handset will have a 4.5-inch HD touch screen, a 1.5-GHz dual-core processor, an 8.0-megapixel camera, HD camcorder, 4GB of internal memory, 16GB pre-installed micro SD card supports up to 32GB cards, Bluetooth Wi-Fi and GPS.
The LG Nitro HD will run Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), and will support AT&T’s HSPA+ and 4GLTE networks. This will allow for faster data speeds when downloading applications and web browsing. The handset will have DNLA technology, which will allow users to wirelessly stream high-definition video and photos. If you enjoy gaming on your smartphone than you will be happy to know that the handset does come with Gameloft HD game store and Zynga Poker HD.
The LG Nitro HD will cost $249.99 with a two-year contract, and will be available on December 4th from AT&T.
