Android 2.2 running on HTC Magic/Mytouch 3G

Well for all your Mytouch 3G owners out there might have something to look forward to. According to Engadget they have received a picture of a Mytouch 3G also known as the HTC Magic running Android 2.2. Also Android and Me have noticed Android 2.2 in their websites visitor data. So the picture above could be fake but with the mobile os appearing in website traffic data it might not be. I guess we will have to wait till the Google I/O conference on May19th for more information.
