Dell Mini 3ix Android based phone might come to the US.

Apparently Dell is getting on the Google Android bandwagon with their Dell Mini 3ix the companies first Google Android based smart phone, with support for AT&T's 3G network frequencies according to the FCC documents. The Dell Mini 3xi will have a 3.5 inch touch screen, support GPS, support for Microsoft Exchange, a 3.0 mega pixel camera with flash and auto focus, Wi-fi support and have micro SD expansion slot as well. And it will be running it's own custom user interface on top of the Google Android operating system. Although there are rumors of the cell phone being release in the 1st quarter of 2010 neither AT&T nor Dell have confirmed this so theirs no real word on if it is coming to the US. But since it has passed the FCC it is legally useable in the US and since it has a US cell carriers frequencies it is promising.

 Documents courtsy of the FCC.
