Acer announces the Liquid E at MWC

At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Spain Acer announced the Acer Liquid E Android based smart phone. The Acer Liquid E will run Android 2.1 the company will not be putting a custom user interface on the device. As far as tech specifications go the Liquid E will have a 768MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 256 MB of RAM & 512MB ROM, support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a 5.0 mega pixel camera with autofocus, a 3.5 mm headphone jacket, a accelerometer, light sensory & a proximity sensor. The Acer Liquid E also has quite a lot of new features one of those feature is called Acer Sync, which allows the phone to automatically or manually sync with your notebook or net book. The Liquid E also comes with DataViz Roadsync pre-installed, which allow the phone to access Microsoft Exchange 2003 & 2007. The Handset also has the Documents To Go application, which allows the user to edit & create Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint files and also views Adobe PDF files. An interesting feature that is more geared toward social networking is called urFooz, which allows the user to create an avatar of themselves and use it on social networking site such as Facebook& Myspace. The Liquid E also has an application called Spinlets, which is a completely free streaming service that will allow the user to browse and listen to music from major record labels & let you post them on social networking sites.
