Acer announces the betouch E110 & betouch E400

Acer announced two other phones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Spain, the betouch E110 & betouch E400. The betouch E110 is Acer’s cheapest Android smart phone. The Device has a 416MHz ST Ericsson processor, a 2.8-inch resistive touch screen, has 256 MB ROM, 256 of RAM and run’s on Android 1.5. The betouch E110 doesn’t support Wi-Fi, which most smart phones support. The betouch E110 also doesn’t have the Android Market, instead the device come pre loaded with several applications like Facebook & Twitdroid. The betouch E110 cost 149 Euros or $205 US dollars.

The betouch E400 will be running Android 2.1 operating system. The device will also feature a lot of the same applications that are found on the Liquid E. Such as Documents To Go, which allows the user to create & edit Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and view Adobe PDF files. The betouch E400 also comes with Acer Sync, which allows the handset to automatically or manually sync to your computer. The betouch E400 has a 3.2 high definition touch screen, a 3.2 MP camera with auto focus & geo-tagging, supports up to 32 GB microSD cards. The E400 will come in black; ceramic white & pearl red and is going to be available April 2010.
