Google plans to launch a 1Gbps ISP service

Google has offered free Wi-fi at airports for customers & for the company’s employees. Google is now looking to launch it’s own fiber based ISP service of up to 1Gbps speeds at competitive prices. According to Engadget the service is to provide next-gen access to between 50,000 up to 500,000 users. As of right now the company is looking for interested communities in select markets. So what do you think of Google starting it’s own fiber based ISP service?
