In a press conference for Motorola in Seoul Korea a new Android phone was announce for SK Telecom, SK Telecom is South Korea's largest cell service provider. They will be getting the Motorola MOTOROI this February this will be the first Google Android based smart phone to be launched in Korea. The Motorola MOTOROI looks a lot like the Motorola Droid and will ship with Android 2.0 as well.  The hardware specifications of the MOTOROI are very impressive it will feature a 3.7-inch high-def WVGA touch screen, an 8.0 megapixel camera with a Xenon flash and a 720p HD camcorder, supports HDMI interface, 3.5mm headphone jack, 8 gigabytes of internal memory, supports up to 32 gigabytes of external memory via microSD. The MOTOROI will offer different ways to input text through a full QWERTY keyboard, a half QWERTY, through handwriting and a 3x4 keypad. The Motorola Motoroi will not have a physical keyboard it will only have a software keyboard. Bea Joon-Dong VP of SK Telecom did state at the press conference that “the Motoroi is a different model from the Droid and it will be launched in the US around March.”

Well I guess we will just have to wait till March to see if this comes to the US, if it is coming stateside am sure I’ll see FCC documents over the next month. So till me what you think of the Motoroi?
