T-Mobiles Nationwide Voice & Data outage

Today if your T-Mobile customer you might be having some problems with your voice and possible data on T-Mobiles network. Apparently the outage is causing 2g and 3g phones to not be recognized on the network, according to Tmonews website there is only 5% of T-Mobile Customers experiencing voice and data loss as of 9:30 pm est. well, I don't know what could have caused it but I myself have not experienced any issues with my service where I live, so people comment on what your experiencing in your area.

Update:  Yesterday T-Mobile issued a statement stating the reason why their was a nationwide voice & data outage on their network. Apparently T-Mobile said the cause of the network outage was "a backend system software error that had generated abnormal congestion on the network."  T-Mobile has taken the precaution to make sure that this doesn't happen in the future. I myself didn't have any issues with my phone yesterday so I didn't notice any network issues. Below is the statement that was made by T-Mobile:

On Tuesday, some T-Mobile customers may have experienced service disruptions impacting voice and messaging services.  We restored full service to all affected customers later in the day.   After investigating the cause, we have determined that a backend system software error had generated abnormal congestion on the network.  T-Mobile has since implemented additional measures to help prevent this from happening in the future.  We again apologize to those customers who were affected and may have been inconvenienced.
